GET OUT OF THE WELL: Perseverance, Strength, Patience and Resilience to Wait on God's Timing, to Identify and Use the Gifts He Gave You
Give yourself time to reflect, to despair, and to reinvent yourself. After 72 hours maximum, get yourself up and out. Pick up your sword and have it ready to fight the next fight.
Acknowledge it when you reach a point of despair. Let yourself feel that despair and validate it for yourself.
Draw yourself to God and search his meanings, his timing, and his purpose behind your troubles.
Then after 72 hours maximum, get yourself up and out. Reinvent yourself. Find the gifts that God has built you with, explore places you've never been, start a podcast, or draw a painting.
Pick up your sword and have it ready to fight the next fight.
Let God work in you.
Let him re-create you.
WHAT I REALLY THINK
People don't always know what to say if you lose a child or get a diagnosis
of cancer. They don't know what to say if the bank wants to repossess your house or if you lost your job. Those are all difficult situations for anyone, especially if they've never been through it before. A lot of people just gloss over your problems and try to say a few comforting words… and then they walk away.
I really think that God allows adverse circumstances to be put in front of us so that he can create new attributes in us, attributes that we need for a future fight.
All good things, all accomplishments, and all efforts that are immeasurably successful can only be accomplished with work.
While we are in the midst of a challenge, we are in an exercise. We can take our present circumstance, and still find happiness.
Otherwise, if we keep thinking that attaining a certain goal or getting a certain job is going to make us happy, then we will never be happy because we will be too busy searching for happiness.
So be happy for today. be happy with exactly what you have, who you are with, and the things that you do each day.
Receive your happiness, and live in it.
