To further my knowledge for the love Christ has for me, I studied predestination doctrine to a deeper love from God.
Romans 8:29 For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.
He knew us in advance! Before our birth! So this tells me he knows we’re going to sin too. Let go of that guilt we have before the sinners prayer. Stop carrying that guilt by seeing ourselves as predestined. He is all knowing. In Christ’s love.
Maybe it could be better termed A sinner’s prayer. Each of us who have prayed, confessed our sin & sins, proclaimed Him Who sacrificed Himself & paid the ultimate price for our sins, & accepted His gift of salvation, & pledged to follow His Way not hours, may have worded such a prayer individually & in our own words.
But to disparage a sinner’s prayer that “covers the bases” seems rather off putting to me.

It has nothing to do with Religion but 100% to do with FAITH. IT IS A RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR CREATOR, JESUS CHRIST THE WORD OF GOD.
In the begining, God spoke and The Word was with Him....Jesus Christ is The Word and created everything. The Holy Spirit is our BFF in this world. 🙌❤️

I think some preachers overdo the "forgiveness" "guilt" issues, instead of focusing on repentance and humility.
Obey Acts 2:38 or be lost… bottom line

Where in the Bible can I find this prayer?
I read mine 3 times through, and even on my nearly completed 4th reading, I’ve never found the “sinner’s prayer” anywhere in God’s Word.
Nor will you find the Pagan Sun disk on His head.

OUR FATHER, not just mine or yours. OUR FATHER that in itself is a step forward
Our Father, Your Father, My Father, All.
The point of Salvation is that it is personal, for me and for you each and together. Yet another miracle from God.
